About the role

Own the technical architecture of Anaira’s backend — scalable services in Java/Spring Boot, distributed systems, and integrations with AI agents and enterprise cores. A hands-on lead who drives architecture and grows engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot

• Architect microservices, APIs, and event-driven/asynchronous workflows

• Build backend platforms that integrate with AI agents, automation, and enterprise systems

• Own architecture — scalability, security, reliability, observability, performance

• Lead design and implementation of distributed systems and design reviews

• Lead engineers through code reviews and hands-on problem solving

• Contribute to technology roadmap and technical hiring

• Java Spring (Boot, Cloud, Data JPA) and microservices architecture

• PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, polyglot persistence

• Docker, Kubernetes, API-first design

• Security (JWT, OAuth2); testing (JUnit 5, Mockito, TestContainers)

• Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, distributed tracing)
